Barcelona is known for being the second largest city of Spain. Barcelona is the capital of Catalonia and full of tuning landmarks and neighbourhoods to explore through. A city and a Beach in one You can sunbathe and get that golden tan on, or sit by the bar at the beach sipping on Sangria.

From its amazing architecture to hidden art galleries, designer boutiques to cocktail bars, there is lots to explore in this city.

The city of Barcelona has numerous tourist attractions and cultural areas to visit. let's walk your thought our experience.
It may be impossible to explore all of Barcelona in a day or two, however we have compiled a list of actives we explored, you should do these along side the usual tourist activities in the city.

We stayed in the Barcelona Edition Hotel, This 5 star hotel in the city, is part of the the relatively young hotel chain EDITION. From the moment you step inside.
The Barcelona EDITION, you immediately feel that this is no ordinary hotel.
This is the result of a collaboration between Marriott International and Ian Schrager – one of the world’s most renowned hoteliers and real estate developers.
The rooftop restaurant, bar and plunge pool, together with the beautiful views over Barcelona are really amazing.
Things to do in Barcelona:
Walk the cobbled alleys of the Gothic and El Born quarters
Shop some local produce at Mercado de La Boqueria
Soak in some Catalonian history at Poble Espanyol
Catch the magical Montjuïc fountain show
Spend a lazy afternoon at Park Güell
Step inside the Barcelona Cathedral
"The church was named after Barcelona's patron saint Eulalia; its official name - Catedral de la Santa Creu i Santa Eulalia - is Catalan for "Cathedral of the Holy Cross and Saint Eulalia"
We explored the gothic interior of the cathedral, as well as the cloister courtyard outside situated beside it. This is a beautiful example of Gothic architecture and a historic one constructed from the 13th to 20th centuries.

Museo Diocesà de Barcelona - The Barcelona Diocesan Museum is located in the historic building of Pia Almoina,. In Plaza de la Catedral.

It was construction with a Gothic body dating back to 1435 and another, Renaissance in style, added in 1546.
Also in gothic quarter we came across many street art/graffiti.

Moving onto food, one place that really impressed us was Molino de Pez, this is a new restaurant. We tried their Seabass for lunch.
Next up for dinner we went to Gala. This restaurant has 5 different areas to enjoy an experience, we had an Amazing time in the club area, where it was covered with beautiful interior and the food was delicious.
