Carlotta - By Big Mamma

We love a good restaurant, last month we went to Jacuzzi owned by Big Mamma Group, and adored everything about it so we had to check out their other restaurant Carlotta.

Upon initial entry, the restaurant may appear deceptively small, but in reality, it boasts a much larger space than one might expect but It becomes evident that the restaurant extends far back into the corridor, which is partially visible on the right-hand side. In a more "intimate" ambiance than usual, Carlotta offer Neapolitan and Sicilian favourites infused with an Americano touch.

Big Mamma's rapid expansion in the restaurant industry is certainly impressive.

The restaurant is across two levels, the main level is pictured above and then theres a basement level.

For those who are familiar with Big Mamma, the menu follows a familiar format. It features the customary arrangement of antipasti, pasta, pizza, substantial main courses (including generous sharing options such as the Florentine T-Bone), and indulgent desserts.

Experienced visitors of Big Mamma restaurants are aware that leaving ample space for dessert is crucial. In fact, it is advised to save a substantial amount of room to fully enjoy the enticing array of desserts on offer.

We tried Carlotta's Wedding Cake and Italian Chocolate Tart.

The ability of Big Mamma to continuously astonish us lies in their consistent and remarkable talent for reinventing and remixing well-established recipes, resulting in unique and distinct dining establishments. It is a testament to their creativity and innovation in the culinary world.
