Story Cellar, Located at the entrance to Neal's Yard on Short's Gardens, this spot serves as a convenient pre or post-theatre stop for visitors to the nearby Donmar. The nearest tube station is Covent Garden, making it easily accessible for all.

This marks the debut of chef Tom Sellers and his team's latest venture since the highly acclaimed launch of Restaurant Story a decade ago.

With the renowned two Michelin-starred restaurant, Restaurant Story, currently undergoing a significant revamp, Sellers now has the opportunity to concentrate on exciting new projects. These include the forthcoming Dovetale restaurant at I Hotel in Mayfair, as well as this new concept an inspired take on Parisian rotisserie restaurants.
The Food:
The star of the show is undoubtedly the chicken, available in two sizes: half and whole. Priced at £32 for the half portion and £56 for the whole, the serving also includes a side of fries and green salad.

First, the chickens are brined for three hours, then poached in bacon stock, and finally, they are expertly finished on the rotisserie, resulting in a mouthwatering serving accompanied by flavourful roasting juice. All the effort and dedication put into preparing these chickens have undoubtedly yielded something truly exceptional.

The desserts, there are five to chose from so we decided to try two .

First the Trifle - Strawberries and Cream

Bread and Butter Pudding Tonka, served with a delicious orange custard.

This restaurant spans two floors, offering a unique dining experience on each level. Upstairs, you'll find counter dining on glossy marble, allowing you to savour your meal right beside the enticing racks of rotating poultry.

On the lower level, there's a walk-in wine cellar, providing an excellent selection of wines. Additionally, a few elegantly appointed tables with crimson coloured banquettes are available for those seeking a more relaxed and laid-back dining setting.
