Battersea Power Station is now open.

The iconic London landmark has finally opened, after a 10-year project. It has been transformed into a complex built up of restaurants, event spaces, accommodation and things to do and it is ready to welcome you back with open arms.

Did you know?

From 1930s to 1980s, Battersea Power Station was a working Power Station. At its peak, it was producing a fifth of London’s power, supplying electricity to some of London’s most iconic landmarks, such as the Houses of Parliament and Buckingham Palace.

To gain more from your visit you will have a history lesson also an exhibition available with complete artefacts and immersive displays about the building. Click to find out more about Lift 109

  • The power station’s former control rooms have been repurposed into an events space and an all-day bar concept, where visitors can interact with the original dials and controls.

  • Bar - Control Room B is a jazzy cocktail bar which opens onto Turbine Hall B.

  • Shops - perfect place for spontaneous shopping sprees.

Tourists and residents can enjoy a unique blend of shops, bars, restaurants, entertainment, parks and historical spaces.
